The Yamaha YP250 Majesty was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Yamaha between 1997 and 2002. It could reach a top speed of 75 mph (120 km/h). Max torque was 16.23 ft/lbs (22.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 20.52 HP (15.3 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

The Yamaha YP250 Majesty was a large scooter that embodied a new genre of bikes emulating sporty sedans. It is capable of both agile maneuvering in line with the rider's intentions as if the rider and bike are united, and a great sense of security to relax the rider's body and mind. With the application of a new250 cc engine, front and rear 12-inch wheels and 245-mm discbrakes on the front wheels, the YP250 had accelerationperformance to spare, alongside stability at high speeds andsecure braking. Its ergonomically designed seat with a variableback rest, aerodynamic form to minimize back pressure duringriding, and body mount fairing allowed fatigue-free riding.Usability was also improved by the provision of three largespaces under the seat and the like, which allow the storage of aB4-sized attache case or full-face helmet.

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 69.0mm bore x 66.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters.
Chassis[edit]
It came with a 110/90-12 64l front tire and a 130/70-12 62l rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The YP250 Majesty was fitted with a 2.91 Gallon (11.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 343.92 pounds (156.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 59.06 inches (1500 mm) long.
