I assume these kinds of places are very popular as there are loads of them down this stretch of road. a huge building in semi-rural area serving cheap microwaved food to the masses, so beer atmosphere and customer service are very much an afterthought.

The Game Bird is a family pub and restaurant next to the A580 and the perfect stop after a visit to nearby Acorn Farm or Knowsley Safari Park.

Bring the kids for a day out and relax with a coffee inside the Wacky Warehouse with varied children's dishes to choose from.

If it’s a nice day then soak up the sun in the beer garden and grab a drink from the outside bar while the kids burn off some energy in the outside play area with sensory equipment.
